    If you’ve got some time to spare in February or March, we can’t recommend a trip to the Victorian High Country to celebrate the region’s rich culinary offerings and exceptional wines.

    The region is an attraction in itself thanks to stunning rivers and lakes set alongside towering mountains and deep valleys making it a hotspot for nature lovers Australia-wide.

    But if you’re idea of relaxation is more indulgent than a bush walk or mountain bike ride, we’d suggest dropping by one of these festivals:

    ‘Long Lunch Series’: From sea to summit at Mount Buller – 10 February 2024

    Take in the breathtaking views of the High Country’s mountain ranges atop Mt Buller with an unforgettable lunch celebrating the best of both land and sea, with farm-fresh produce and seafood delicacies.     The High Country Hop, Beechworth – 23 March 2024

    Join Bridge Road Brewers to celebrate the Victorian hop harvest season. Set in picturesque Beechworth, the High Country Hop celebrates the brewers from across the region, spotlighting a series of unique ales made using fresh, locally-sourced hops from the harvest along with local winemakers, distillers, and five hours of musical entertainment with a lineup announcement to come.
