Eight top-performing travel advisors from Travel Associates across Australia enjoyed an eight-day voyage with Viking from Ravenna (San Marino) to Athens.

Viking and Travel Associates collaborated on an exclusive incentive, offering advisors the opportunity to win a deluxe veranda stateroom on the 8-day journey through the heart of the Mediterranean on board Viking Venus for the the eight-day Venice, the Adriatic, and Greece voyage.

“Our expectations were exceeded the moment we stepped onboard Viking Venus. The warm welcome made us feel at home and set the tone for the entire cruise,” commented Jacqui Smart, Travel Associates Shellharbour.

“I really enjoyed the relaxed yet sophisticated atmosphere on the ship. Watching the sunset while cruising into Kotor was the standout highlight of our trip. Ronnie and I strongly recommend Viking and will be lifelong supporters.”

The journey began in Venice before proceeding to one of Croatia’s oldest cities, Split, home to the ancient Roman Palace of Emperor Diocletian, before heading for Dubrovnik. Croatia’s Dalmatian Coast exposed the architectural splendour of medieval houses and historic fortresses, while the grand fjords of Kotor in Montenegro offered breath-taking views.

In Greece, Corfu’s Old Town charmed Viking’s guests with its narrow streets, while the scenic fishing village of Olympia, with its well-preserved ruins, evoked glimpses of the glory of the Games. Finally, the journey concluded in Athens.

“I feel honoured to have been invited on a truly enchanting adventure aboard the Viking Venus. I wholeheartedly recommend Viking to anyone who shares a passion for exploring history and antiquity in a sophisticated and indulgent manner,” said Jonathan House, of Travel Associates Runaway Bay, and three-time Viking travel veteran.

“The luxurious appointments of the ship, combined with the exceptional service of the staff, the exquisite fine dining options complemented by an impressive wine list, and the rejuvenating spa and snow grotto, have gifted me with a treasure trove of unforgettable memories from this remarkable journey.”

The first-hand participation of Travel Associates advisors in authentic cultural enrichment activities will help them inspire and encourage their clients in the future. These experiences will shape these top-selling travel advisors into top Viking storytellers and life-long Viking advocates.
