Emma Gray joins Intrepid as strategic partnerships manager

    Intrepid Travel has announced the appointment of Emma Gray in a new position of Strategic Partnerships Manager, where she will be responsible for working with existing and new partners on special projects and product development.

    Having previously worked for Intrepid Travel in the role of Queensland business development manager seven years ago, Emma now rejoined the company after broadening her knowledge and networks in domestic tourism working for Destination Melbourne and Visit Victoria, as well as in media and advertising for Nine and Nova. She now returns, bringing with her a new wealth of knowledge, expertise and established relationships.

    Yvette Thompson, Intrepid Travel’s general manager of sales & partnerships ANZ, said, “It’s great to have Emma back in the team in the new role of strategic partnerships manager. Her passion for Intrepid Travel combined with her sales and brand skills, makes her the perfect choice for the role and addition to our team.”

    An enthusiastic traveller herself, Gray said, “I am so delighted to be back. There are lots of exciting opportunities with Intrepid Travel’s new DMCs, including new trips being created and new partnerships being formed through The Intrepid Foundation, tourism boards and airlines, and I am glad to be part of it.”

    Intrepid Travel has announced this appointment as part of the continuous growth of its ANZ team, to deliver the best experiences to agents and customers.
