Council of Australian Tour Operators to hold first International Women’s Day luncheon

The Council of Australian Tour Operators (CATO) has launched a new International Women’s Day (IWD) luncheon to highlight the achievements of it’s members.

CATO is a trade association that represents both domestic and outbound-land supply sector of the Australian travel industry and will hold its inaugural luncheon Sydney’s L’Aqua overlooking Cockle Bay and Darling Harbour in March 2023.

The lunch will be inline with the theme of IWD 2023, “embrace equity” and will include panel discussions with female leaders from CATO members sharing inspiration and experiences. There is also a guest speaker who will be announced in coming weeks.

“We have some extraordinary talent within our membership group and this event is designed to put a spotlight on the tremendous work of some of these outstanding individuals,” Brett Jardine, CATO managing director said.

“CATO will also be supporting a local charity to benefit from the event and confirmed the event will be open to all travel industry participants.”

The event includes a 2-course sit-down lunch, all drinks and extensive networking opportunities with tickets on sale now at the CATO website.
