Corporate Traveller’s Delta Education Day

Corporate Traveller’s Delta Education Day

Account Managers from Corporate Traveller participated in a product familiarisation day with Delta Air Lines in January, hosted at Gate Gourmet’s airline catering centre in Sydney.

Partnering with Gate Gourmet, Delta is conducting a series of educational days to introduce Australian TMCs to the benefits executive travellers receive when flying with the American carrier.

Team Leader, Account Management at Corporate Traveller, Kelly Thomas said the day helped her account managers better understand the Delta experience.

“Traveller experience is key to a successful travel program. Getting to see and taste what customers enjoy when travelling with Delta truly helped my team put themselves in the traveller’s shoes. As Account Managers we want to align our customers with the right travel partners – partners who understand the value of the traveller experience, and deliver on this. The entire day was so well planned, very unique and most of all, lots of fun.”

“The day was about helping our travel partners describe and sell the Delta experience by knowing what our point of difference is, compared to other carriers,”  National Account Manager for Delta Air Lines, Jamie Bunn said.

The education day included a tour of Gate Gourmet’s catering facility and lunch served from Delta’s inflight menu.
