CLIA to welcome 18 new ships with virtual showcase

MSC Seashore

The Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) is hosting a virtual welcome for more than a dozen new cruise ships hitting the water this year with its first-ever Ocean Debut Showcase.

As the industry body works hard to get cruising back on the menu around the world, cruise lines are unveiling a bunch of new ships to re-energise cruising and create new experiences for guests.

Running each day between Monday 10 May and Friday 14 May, CLIA’s Ocean Debut Showcase is a week-long online event designed to give agents insight into these latest cruise ships.

It will include presentations from 13 different CLIA cruise lines showcasing 18 new vessels. Each ship will be profiled in detail, covering topics including ship facts, dining, entertainment, accommodation, public spaces, new innovative features and designs, and experiences.

Participants will earn three CLIA accreditation points by completing a short post-event quiz for each cruise line presentation they attend live. Plus, there are five great prize packs to be won by collecting a codeword given during each live session.
