Calling all travel agents! Singapore Tourism is heading Down Under for its latest trade roadshow.

The ‘Find your Tribe’ Singapore Tourism Trade Roadshow 2019 is just around the corner, and it’s the perfect occasion for all travel professionals to brush-up on their knowledge of the Lion City.

Arriving on Australian shores in August, the roadshow and its theme – #PassionMadePossible – allows agents to explore their Singaporean passions by identifying with a tourism ‘tribe’.

Are you a foodie, socialiser, culture shaper or explorer?

In the lead-up to the event, Travel Weekly will be taking you through Singapore Tourism’s four travel ‘tribes’. First up: the foodies.

Agents, take note: with street food and Michelin stars, and even Michelin-starred street food, Singapore boasts a broad spectrum of food options – and no shortage of establishments showcasing it.

Connoisseurs, gourmands, bakers, chefs, mixologists, chocolatiers and tastemakers are leading the charge in the Lion City, and this excellence is one aspect of the country the Singapore Tourism Board aims to celebrate and promote at its upcoming roadshow in August.

But far from being for a single market, whether it be elite- or street-level, there’s a cuisine for every taste and budget in Singapore.

Moreover, the country’s local street fare, hawker markets and Michelin-starred restaurants each display Singapore’s cultural diversity. The country’s vibrant fine dining scene has emerged as one of the world’s most exciting, attracting revered and talented chefs from around the world.

Whether it be healthy eats in northern Singapore, food gems along Keong Saik, or a tour of the bars in Dempsey Hill and Holland Village, your clients are sorted for flexible, hospitable food outings.

The ‘Find your Tribe’ Singapore Tourism Trade Roadshow 2019 will be hosted in Sydney on Monday 26 August, in Brisbane on Wednesday 28 August, and in Melbourne on Friday 30 August.
