Air Vanuatu Australia and New Zealand flights anticipated to restart next week

Air Vanuatu has confirmed the required mechanical parts for the Boeing 737 aircraft that services its Australia and New Zealand routes have been sourced, with the airline announcing it hopes to restart flights mid next week.

In the meantime, Air Vanuatu is continuing to offer fully flexible change and refund policies for affected guests and is scheduling reservation staff to work over the Easter weekend to further assist travellers.

Travel agents are advised to continue checking the Travel Advisory page on the airline’s website for up-to-date information and scheduling – www.airvanuatu.com/travel-info/travel-advisories/flight-cancellation-advisory.

An Air Vanuatu spokesperson said, “Air Vanuatu is working as quickly as possible to get its guests where they need to go. Safety is of course our number one priority, and we look forward to greeting travellers on board next week once flights are restarted with our signature warm Pacific welcome.”
