By admin

Work has started on the construction of a new Qantas lounge at Singapore, a project that is expected to take three months to complete.

The lounge, which is scheduled to open on March 31, will replace the Qantas and British Airways First lounge which has already closed.

The carrier said it will create "a new standard of luxury for customers".

Until the lounge opens, Qantas first and Platinum One frequent flyers will be able to use the Emirates lounge while Platinum frequent flyers will have access to the existing Qantas/BA business lounge.

In addition, Qantas business and Gold frequent flyer members will be able to use the SATS premier lounge and Qantas Club and Jetstar Business Max customers will have access to the Rainforest Lounge.
