Travel firms seeking new recruits in election wake
By admin

Travel companies are taking their recruitment plans off hold in the wake of the election with the market looking increasingly buoyant, according to travel recruitment firm inPlace Recruitment.

Business manager Ben Carnegie said the shift comes after many months of “questionable stability”.

Job seekers are also preparing to make a move, he revealed.

“Job seekers are overcoming their fear of being the last person to be hired in uncertain times,” he said.

“They are now more confident to come out from under the rocks where they have been hiding and take the leap of faith to join a new organisation.”

The jobs becoming available are mainly in front line and middle management roles across the travel, tourism and events sectors and those with strong industry networks are particularly in demand to help deliver growth.

“As business grows, we expect to see an increase in operational roles to follow", Carnegie said.
