Style success for Virgin crew
By admin

Virgin Australia's cabin crew has been voted the third most stylish in Asia Pacific with China Eastern Airlines taking the top spot, according to a new Skyscanner survey.

The travel search site's survey of more than 1200 travellers in Asia Pacific put China Eastern in first place with a score of 4.15 out of 5, with Asiana Airlines and Virgin in second and third place with scored of 4.14 and 4.03 respectively.

Skyscanner market development manager Australia and New Zealand, Dave Boyt, said Virgin's ranking came on the back of a concerted effort.

"Just last summer, Virgin Australia staffers were required to undertake lessons in etiquette, posture and language and along with their style bible and new commercial, Virgin is ensuring they put the glamour back into flying," he said.

Chinese carriers dominated the top five, with Air China and China Southern taking fourth and fifth place.

AirAsia came sixth, followed by Singapore Airlines, Korean Air, Philippine Airlines and Jeju Air.
