Spirit to get dedicated sales team

Spirit to get dedicated sales team
By admin

A dedicated sales team is being recruited for Carnival Spirit as the liner prepares to start its inaugural season in Australia.

Sales have until now been handled by Complete Cruise Solution but from December 1 a team will be handed responsibility for the Spirit and report to Carnival Cruise Lines director Jennifer Vandekreeke.

Travel the World will continue to handle international business after that date in Australia.

The shake-up follows a “thorough review” by Carnival Cruise Lines and Carnival Australia.

Carnival Australia chief executive Ann Sherry said the structure will enable the business to be “armed and fully resourced to meet targets”.

The 2124-capacity Carnival Spirit will arrive in Australia next Wednesday for its year-round deployment.

It has undergone a $7 million refurbishment to appeal to the Australian market.
