Silversea launches expedition brochure

Silversea launches expedition brochure
By admin

Upmarket cruise brand Silversea has launched its first dedicated brochure for its expedition voyages as Australians continue to embrace the product.

The local market is the second largest producer of bookings – behind the US – for the Silver Explorer expedition ship with demand also expected to be high for the Galapagos Explorer II which the cruise line acquired in June.

The ship will enter service later next year and does not yet feature in the program.

Karen Christensen, general manager and director of sales and marketing Australasia, said the 48-page stand alone brochure will feature 27 voyages taking in 28 ports, including a return to Greenland.

“Expedition cruises are becoming a big part of our business overall and it made sense to introduce a dedicated brochure,” she told Travel Today. “It is a different market to our classic voyages and will allow us more space to talks about the cruises and destinations.”

Silversea also launched its 176-page Atlas program with 10 new ports. The brochure has been redesigned to create a more luxury-focused coffee table style book.
