Orient Express Travel Group aims to capture a significant share of the burgeoning cruise sector with the launch of its new offering Express Cruises.

The new product, underpinned by a tailor-made B2B sales platform, is for exclusive use by the 500 members of OETG’s Select and 1dependence travel agency groups.

Executive general manager Ari Magoutis revealed that the new tool, developed with the Cruise Marketing Group, features “rich content” for more than 44 cruise lines. Details of sailings, ship data, deck plans, destination and route information are all included in one interface.

It also includes fly cruise packages as well as unique ocean and river cruise packages which are loaded daily offering a “competitive advantage” to agents using the platform.

“We are very excited in launching Express Cruises which has been developed for our members to deliver a fantastic B2B product that’s easy to use and backed up by great service,” Magoutis said.

Meanwhile, Cruise Marketing Group director Fred Sparksman said the firm was “delighted” to deliver a “total cruise solution” to OETG. The firm also operates Seven Oceans Cruising and Cruise Abroad.

“Our substantial range of cruise only, fly cruise and cruise tour products across all sectors of the cruise market delivers many new sales opportunities and we look forward to working closely with Select and 1ndependence Travel Group members to mutually grow a profitable business relationship,” he said.
