Marshall departs AAT Kings for P&O

Tammy Marshall has stepped down as managing director of AAT Kings to take up the role of senior vice president of P&O Cruises.

In the newly create role, Marshall will drive commercial operations for the cruise line with responsibility for cross-brand functions, including Complete Cruise Solutions.

Marshall said she departed her role as managing director of AAT Kings and Inspiring Journeys with “much sadness” but was looking forward to a role developing “the next chapter of the P&O story”.

Carnival chief executive Ann Sherry said the cruise line had undertaken an extensive search to fill the position, with Marshall emerging as the most suitable candidate.

“Tammy has established herself as an authority in the tourism industry and is ideally suited to lead our crew as we continue the double digit growth of the industry, drive the evolution of cruising in Australia and deliver the best possible product and experience for P&O Cruises’ passengers,” Sherry said.

Meanwhile, Travel Corporation chief executive John Weeks paid homage to Marshall’s contribution to the firm over her near decade of service.

She will remain in position until September 28, with am announcement to be made regarding a replacement once an appointment has been finalised.
