Helloworld shift continues with two new appointments
By admin

More change is afoot over at Jetset Travelworld Group (JTG) as chief executive Rob Gurney announced two new appointments that he expects to play “key roles” in the company’s ongoing Helloworld strategy.

Kaylene Shuttlewood will take on the role of head of affiliate network, while James Vaile will become its new general manager airline representation with both to make the transition over the coming weeks.

"As head of affiliate network, Kaylene will leverage her more than 20 years of experience with JTG and the Stella Travel Group to lead Helloworld's affiliate network and the Concorde Agency Network," Gurney said.

Commenting on her new role, Shuttlewood outlined the benefits of the affiliate model for independent travel agents as access to the “buying power and technology of Australia’s largest travel agency collective”.

"My initial priority will be to focus on all of our Affiliate agents and emphasise the value proposition of the Helloworld network, its operational structure and to demonstrate its many benefits over current offerings,” she said.

Meanwhile, Vaile will be charged with ensuring a “smooth transition” for JTG’s partners, taking responsibility for World Aviation Systems and Global Aviation Services.

"James' vast experience working closely with airlines across all distribution channels in various senior management roles across Asia Pacific, Europe and the UK makes him ideal to lead the air representation division with the launch of our new brand, Helloworld," Gurney said.
