New Jetset Travelworld chief executive Rob Gurney will pocket an annual salary of $750,000 while short term bonuses could net the former Qantas executive a further $750,000.

Details of the remuneration package revealed today show 50% of the incentive payment is based on agreed financial performance with 50% on agreed non-financial targets.

Subject to shareholder approval, Gurney will also receive a signing on bonus of rights over JTG shares to the equivalent of 50% of his fixed annual salary. The shares will be fully paid on the second anniversary of his start date.

A long term incentive payment also forms part of the package.
