Gold Coast welcomes winter with family holiday campaign
By admin

Wotif.com and Gold Coast Tourism are bringing summer back, with their two week 100% fun, 0% winter campaign.

The aim is to prompt Aussie travellers to escape winter by taking a trip to the Gold Coast and exploring its attractions in winter.

While the city is a popular destination for holidaymakers in summer, this new campaign will showcase the advantages of visiting the Gold Coast in the cooler months, with a particular focus on families.

“The Gold Coast has so many activities and things on offer to keep families entertained, including the city’s five world-class theme parks, national parks, a great range of restaurants, markets and shopping outlets,” said product director of Wotif.com, Donna Rodios.

“We also have great value travel packages including accommodation and return flights to the Gold Coast for two adults and two children.”

Choosing to holiday on the Gold Coast this winter means families can avoid the crowded peak season, and instead enjoy a quieter, more affordable vacation.

Families can score accommodation deals from as little as $179 per night for two adults and two children. The 100% fun, 0% winter campaign runs from April 28 until May 11.
