New Queensland manager for Etihad

New Queensland manager for Etihad
By admin

Etihad Airways has appointed Charles Morley as its new manager for Queensland, as the airline finalises preparations to increase services to the state.

Morley, who has held positions with British Airways, Royal Brunei Airlines and Air Niugini, will join the Etihad Brisbane commercial tram on February 4, just three days after the airline boosts its Brisbane frequency from three times weekly to daily.

General manager Australia and New Zealand, Luisa Pastrello, highlighted Morley's credentials, which include his experience, local market perspective and his "vast network" of statewide business contacts.

"His appointment to the role recognises the importance of the state of Queensland to the airline's business and Etihad Airways' continuing expansion in Australia," she said.

"Linking Brisbane daily via Singapore with our hub in Abu Dhabi and beyond to our extensive global network outs Etihad Airways in a stronger than ever competitive position in Queensland and we are well on the way to growing our market share accordingly."
