Cover-More has released a statement, which affirms that under Cover-More travel insurance policies, there is provision for accidental death, overseas funeral or repatriation costs, luggage and travel documents, and additional expenses.

This is the official coverage position that pertains to all partners of Cover-More, with the travel insurance company encouraging family members of MH17 passengers to contact them directly on +61 (2) 8907 5619.

In the wake of the MH17 tragedy disaster, Malaysia Airlines has said that it will waive all fees for changes to travel until further notice to any MH destination for transactions up to July 25 2014.

The airline has also stated it will allow customers wishing to cancel their bookings on the carrier, up until December 30 2014, to receive a full refund, provided the request is submitted on or before Thursday July 24.
