CTM names first local CEO
By admin

Corporate Travel Management (CTM) has appointed a chief executive for its Australian and New Zealand business to ensure it does not lose focus on its core profit-making operation.

The newly-created role has been handed to Laura Ruffles, pictured, the company's chief operating officer for the past three years.

CTM founder and managing director Jamie Pherous said while the company is expanding overseas, it must remain focused on its local operation.

The company said in a statement the appointment of Ruffles will "ensure that the largest part of CTM's business continues to be a source of high growth and sustained profitability".

Ruffles will be responsible for overseeing the profitability, sales performance, service delivery, client satisfaction and employee retention.
