G Adventures has announced a cyber sale for the week leading up to Cyber Monday, with savings up to 35 per cent on tours around the world.
The sale begins at 9:00am, 27 November 2019, and runs until midnight, 5 December 2019, with savings of up to 35 per cent on thousands of trips departing between 3 December 2019 and 30 April 2020.
The adventure tour company said 600 itineraries across six continents will be marked down, which will add more than 7,400 opportunities to join tours before 30 April 2020.
Of those, more than 400 trips will feature a 30 to 35 per cent discount, including adventures to the Galapagos Islands, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Peru, New Zealand and locally in Australia.
World Expeditions participates in management buyout of European adventure travel company
World Expeditions Travel Group has revealed it is participating in the management buyout of SNP Natuureizen BV, a leading adventure travel company, based in the Netherlands.
Sue Badyari, CEO of World Expeditions, said the buyout will offer potential synergy between the Dutch company and UTracks.
SNP was founded by Dutch naturalists in 1984 and has more than 25 years of experience in adventure travel, offering a range of active holidays all over the world.
The company employs more than 65 staff at its head office in Nijmejen and, like World Expeditions, operates active adventures, with various combinations of walking, hiking, cycling, birdwatching, canyoning, canoeing and kayaking.
Trafalgar releases flash sale on worldwide trips
Travel agents can save up to 25 per cent on Trafalgar tours, with the release of the wholesaler’s ‘Ultimate Flash Sale’.
Starting Monday, agents can save on a selection of up to 40 tours, booked before 2 December 2019, including the 14-day ‘Highlights of Austria, Slovenia and Croatia’ tour, and the 13-day ‘Italian Glory’ tour.
To help support agents in closing their sales, the brand’s contact centres will be open all seven days this week, between 9:00am–5:00pm from Monday to Friday, and 10:00am–3:00pm on Sunday.
As the cherry on top, with Trafalgar recently announcing its ‘Acclaim Agent Rewards’ trip to Ireland, every sale will go towards agents securing their place on the brand’s incentive trip. Next year’s experience will take place in Ireland, with JoinTrafalgar’s responsible travel initiatives taking front and centre stage.
Wendy Wu Tours announces two-night Singapore stopover deal
Customers flying Singapore Airlines on a Wendy Wu group tour in 2020 can save hundreds of dollars on two-night Singapore stopovers.

The deal is available on more than 40 itineraries offered by the company, including the 14-day fully inclusive ‘Majestic Yangtze’ tour, from $4,580 per person twin share.
On this tour travellers will visit Shanghai, walk on the Great Wall, cruise the Yangtze River for four nights, and see giant pandas and the Terracotta Army, and discover ancient Ciqikou.

The brochure offers 68 pages of tours and services, with over 30 pages of Scandinavian tours, including small groups, tailor-made packages and city stays which is complemented by the recently launched www.scandinavia-and-beyond.com.au website.
The Australian owned operators offer more than forty guaranteed escorted and small group tour departures throughout summer and winter 2020 with tours starting in Stockholm, Helsinki, Copenhagen, Bergen, Reykjavik and Ivalo.

50 Degrees North launches new independent small group tour for 2020
Nordic travel specialist 50 Degrees North has introduced a new seven-day summer tour to its selection of independent small group tours to Norway.
The travel company’s ‘Scenic Norway’ tour explores the Northwestern fjord region of Norway, starting from Ålesund and travelling to Kristiansund via Valldalen and Åndalsnes.
The company says this is a stunning part of Norway that many tourists do not get to see, because it usually requires a private car or joining a big coach tour.
Each of 50 Degrees North’s tours allow between two to 12 independent travellers to traverse exceptionally beautiful, yet hard-to-reach areas of Norway in the comfort and safety of a shared 50 Degrees North minivan, with an experienced driver.
