WATCH: Plane passenger casually lights up cigarette mid-flight

A ballsy plane passenger has been caught smoking during a flight, with video of the incident unsurprisingly going viral.

The vision shows a man casually lighting up a cigarette and taking a couple of puffs before relaxing back into his seat and closing his eyes.

It was taken onboard a Spirit Airlines flight to Minneapolis by a fellow passenger, who claims the man was originally sitting in her seat when she boarded and appeared to be under the influence of alcohol.

Shocked onlookers can be seen trying to get the attention of a flight attendant, who swiftly puts out the man’s cigarette before asking for his passport.

Bizarrely, the man appears to snap out of the situation and appears shocked by his decision to smoke.

Check it out the craziness below:

The man was reportedly escorted off the plane by police once it landed.

Travel Weekly has contacted Spirit Airlines for comment.
