WATCH: Industry colleagues (including Tourism Australia’s CEO) unite in song

An Aussie travel marketer has made the most of his time in isolation, putting together one helluva music video featuring a tonne of industry colleagues.

Set to the famous charity song “We Are the World” by the supergroup USA for Africa in 1985, the video features people from across the globe lip-syncing along, including Tourism Australia CEO Phillipa Harrison.

The brainchild of this project was Sydney Melbourne Touring’s Paul Cooper, who made the video simply to “put smiles on faces”.

“Every day, our news is filled with the impacts of this worldwide pandemic,” he said.

“The words and music from the original USA for Africa team seem so fitting all over again.

“Our tourism industry is such a great family and I was overwhelmed with the response.”
