Let’s face it: most of us have been in the situation where you board a flight, only to realise that you’ve left one of your personal belongings behind.
Well, one airline recently went to great lengths to recover a phone which had been left behind at the gate by what would’ve been a very worried passenger, and captured it all on film.
Southwest Airlines recently shared footage of ground crew successfully lobbing the device into the hands of a pilot who was leaning out the window of the aircraft’s cockpit, just as it was about to start taxiing down the runway.
Check out the rescue effort in all its skillful glory below:
Employees see a Customer’s left-behind phone in the gate area, but the plane is already pushed back from the gate. Shot clock is running low. Team LGB moves the phone down the terminal with alarming speed & hand it off to Power Ramper KJ on the tarmac. He shoots, he scores! @espn pic.twitter.com/xoJsiGTbRL
