Virgin up for grabs at hotels

Daisy Melwani

AccorHotels and Velocity Frequent Flyer have aligned in a new partnership to enhance both loyalty programmes.

From 30 September, the 20 million global members of Le Club AccorHotels will be able to transfer Le Club AccorHotels points earned from staying at any of the 2,800 participating hotels in 92 countries worldwide to Velocity Frequent Flyer Points, opening up a range of unique benefits including a global flight network of more than 600 destinations.

Furthemore, Velocity Frequent Flyer will become a new transfer option for AccorHotels’ loyalty members together with car rental, railway, charity, culinary, shopping and leisure partners.

“Loyalty counts and it is an integral feature of our obsessive approach to guest recognition and delivering the ultimate customer experience. As our hotel network continues to rapidly expand, so too do the benefits of being part of our award-winning loyalty program Le Club AccorHotels,” AccorHotels, Chief Operating Officer Pacific, Simon McGrath, said.
