TTS releases new one-way faring feature

Travel Technology & Solutions (TTS) has incorporated one-way faring in TTS WeBook, its Internet Booking Engine for flight reservations.

The company has spent the past few months adapting its solutions to meet the specific requirements of Australian and New Zealand markets.

After implementing one-way faring in its corporate booking solution, TTS Corporate, and successfully trialling the WeBook function, TTS is now releasing this new feature to all clients from these markets.

Travel agencies with one-way faring on TTS WeBook will benefit from a flight results interface designed to allow the user to search through flight results and combine different fare types and carriers in one itinerary.

This method is available for domestic Australian and New Zealand flight searches and also for Trans-Tasman searches.

The flight results allow users to sort the results by price and by departure time to serve price and scheduled oriented travelers, while filters enable users to restrict results to the traveller’s own preferences.

TTS’ product manager Susan Gonçalves said this new feature will help the company stand apart in the industry.

“Nowadays travel agents are facing all different sorts of competition so they need to find new ways to stand out and, at the same time, grow their business,” she said.

“That’s why we created TTS WeBook: a powerful and affordable solution that helps travel agents to improve their online presence by allowing them to sell flights on their website or Facebook page and provide a simple and fast online booking process to their customers.”
