Tiger Air Changes Carry-On Baggage Rules

Tigerair Australia has announced that free carry-on baggage allowance will become 7kg from 17 April. This change will put the airline alongside the rest of the aviation industry.

Customers will now be able to carry a maximum of two bags free of charge within the 54cm x 38cm x 23cm dimensions or weight of 7kg.

A new Cabin+ product, will enable passengers with extra luggage the ability to purchase additional carry-on baggage of up to 12kg provided they do not exceed the dimensions.

The airline has also enhanced the website, allowing passengers to add bags or buy baggage weight after booking.
