Remain relevant with ATAS

On 1 July 2015, the AFTA Travel Accreditation Scheme (ATAS) celebrated its first birthday and some 3500 travel agent locations around Australia are now industry accredited. ATAS is fast becoming the mark of quality which consumers are actively seeking when booking travel for peace of mind, knowing they are booking through a trusted, reliable and trained travel professional.

Join the ATAS webinar and see for yourself how it stacks up in the market. The session will examine the success of ATAS through the eyes of qualitative research that AFTA has undertaken on the Australian Traveller and what they value in an accreditation scheme. You will also learn how you can leverage your ATAS accreditation and remain competitive in today’s market place.

The webinar is on Wednesday 23 September – 11am (AEST), and you can Register now.

Tourism Fiji’s Australia Regional Office has noted a positive effect to its roadshows from travel agents across Down Under that have been held throughout the year.

The Regional Office organised five national roadshows covering niche markets, which included MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Events), mainstream, luxury, wedding and romance, and eight regional roadshows.

Around 1,050 travel agents had a chance to meet with both Australian and Fiji-based Directors of Sales & Marketing and senior marketing staff from approximately 20 hotel and transport service providers, across all the roadshows.
