SureSave, a provider of travel insurance and emergency assistance within the agency channel, is pleased to welcome Kate James as its new Business Development Manager (BDM) in Victoria.

James’s new role at SureSave will see her drive growth for the travel insurance company, which already insures 300,000 Australians every year.

With a career spanning over 20 years in the travel industry, Kate has a wealth of experience in sales management, customer and agent relations, travel consultancy and business development.  Previously, Kate held the position of Sales and Business Development Manager at a leading travel insurance company from 2010 to 2013.  Prior to this, Kate was Team Leader at one of Australia’s leading travel agents.  Since then Kate has been working at one of Australia’s leading agency groups as a Sales and Development Coach, as well as an Agency Manager.

“I’m thrilled to join such a dedicated and innovative team, and to be a part of a company that assists the changing needs of the traveller.  I’m very passionate about the importance of providing quality, Australian-based travel insurance, so I’m excited to return to the travel insurance space representing SureSave.  I look forward to growing SureSave’s agent network in Victoria,” James said.

Talbot Henry, National Sales Director at SureSave, said, “We’re delighted to welcome Kate to the team.  With her extensive travel industry experience in retail and supplier relations, we’re confident that Kate will help to grow the SureSave network in Victoria and further strengthen our brand as a leading provider of travel insurance in Australia.”
