‘Steam, River and Raft’ spices up Tasmania

King River Rafting Company has jumped onboard with Tasmania’s West Coast Wilderness Railway for the railway’s newest adventure, ‘Steam, River and Raft’.

The brand new one-day journey takes travellers on a ride on the West Coast Wilderness Railway, before guiding them down to the King River, where they spend the afternoon rafting down the river.

The train ride and rafting will include featured views of King River  and Gorge, Dubbil Barril station and Macquarie Harbour.

The new adventure has two departures available from Queenstown Station with West Coast Wilderness Railway, and is available once in February and then again in March.

The day is fully catered for, and is suited for anyone between the ages of 10 and 70 years.
