Scam alert on false cruise competiton

Daisy Melwani

Royal Caribbean have issued a warning to highlight a fake competition campaign currently making rounds on social media.

The cruise line said a false social media profile: ‘Royal Caribbean Australia’, has been claiming to offer a chance to win a cruise by sharing the post and clicking a link.

“The Facebook page is a scam, do not click the link! It has no connection with Royal Caribbean and the prizes do not exist. We are working with Facebook to have the page removed, however this is taking longer than expected,” the cruise line said in a statement.
