Royal Caribbean launches epic sale as new ship arrives in the States

Royal Caribbean has launched an epic end of month sale offering 30 per cent off, plus a huge onboard credit for Aussie cruise fanatics!

From today until 28 February, the line will offer big savings on a range of cruises and up to $1,200 in onboard credit to spend on speciality dining, Vitality Spa treatments or at the unique boutiques on board.

With Australia’s cruise ban expected to be lifted in April, Ovation of the Seas and Quantum of the Seas are set to be sailing from Sydney, and for the first time Brisbane, from October onwards.

Sale highlights include:

  • $449 for each guest and enjoy US$225 in onboard credit per stateroom on a 2-night Sampler cruise from Sydney on Ovation of the Seas.
  • $899 for each guest and enjoy US$225 in onboard credit per stateroom on a 5-night Queensland Highlights cruise from Brisbane on Quantum of the Seas.
  • $1999 for each guest and enjoy US$900 in onboard credit per Junior Suite on a 6-night Queensland Highlights cruise from Brisbane on Quantum of the Seas.

The news comes as Royal Caribbean’s newest ship Wonder of the Seas arrived in the United States on Sunday evening ahead of its official debut on 4th March in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

The new build features eight unique “neighbourhoods” including a Royal Caribbean first, named the Suite Neighbourhood, a new southern-style restaurant and bar, The Mason Jar, which serves up southern staples and new takes on the classics for brunch, dinner and the late night, as well as Wonder Playscape, an all-new interactive outdoor play area.

Also on deck are signature experiences like The Ultimate Abyss, the tallest slide at sea, the FlowRider surf simulator, rock-climbing walls, and the Central Park neighbourhood which is lined with more than 20,000 real plants!

Wonder of the Seas will first set sail in May 2022 from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, with seven night cruises to the Caribbean and Royal Caribbean’s private island destination, Perfect Day at CocoCay in the Bahamas, before heading to Barcelona, Spain, and Rome to kick off summer vacations in the Mediterranean.

In November, Wonder returns to explore the tropical shores of the Caribbean and The Bahamas from its year-round home, Port Canaveral, Florida.
