Quest welcomes two new members to the family

Quest Serviced Apartments has had a busy fortnight with the official opening of two new properties in New South Wales – Quest Nowra and Quest Albury on Townsend.

Last week, the Honourable Tim Fischer AC joined Mayor of Albury, Cr Kevin Mack to officially open Quest Albury on Townsend, in the historic former Farmers and Graziers Woolstore building.

The celebration at Quest Albury on Townsend follows the official opening of Quest Nowra on June 18 when Mayor of Shoalhaven City Council, Cr Joanna Gash opened the brand new property.

Quest’s chief operating officer Scott McAlister highlighted the significance of the openings, which expand the company’s presence in New South Wales while proving the strength of the Quest Network.

“It is in regional centres like Albury and Nowra that Quest’s value proposition really shines. Local commercial and industrial businesses are thriving in both locations and with this growth, comes a greater demand for Quest’s style of extended-stay corporate accommodation,” McAlister said.

Quest Nowra Franchisee James Blanchett enters the role after several years with Quest Corporate Head office, while Quest Albury on Townsend brings together an existing franchisee partnership – Noel, Madeleine, Jason and Natasha – from Quest Wodonga.

Quest Albury on Townsend Franchisee Noel Wood has been with Quest for over 15 years. He is already Franchisee of Quest Albury with his wife Madeleine, in addition to Quest Wodonga in partnership with Jason and Natasha.

“It is in regional centres like Albury and Nowra that Quest’s value proposition really shines. Local commercial and industrial businesses are thriving in both locations and with this growth, comes a greater demand for Quest’s style of extended-stay corporate accommodation,” McAlister added.

“Our two existing NSW/VIC border properties – Quest Wodonga and Quest Albury – already do exceedingly well and the new Quest Albury on Townsend will enhance this offering to ensure we can meet the needs of our guests, every time they are in the area. Quest Nowra is suffering a drastic shortage of accommodation supply – a demand the new property is perfectly placed to meet.”
