Qantas shares some Disney magic

Celebrating Disneyland’s Diamond Anniversary with a blast in 2015, Disneyland and Qantas have teamed up to get Aussie families to the happiest place on earth.

The Disneyland resort attracts more tourists from down under than any other international destination outside the US and Canada.

As part of the Diamond Celebration, which kicked off on May 22, Disneyland will be showcasing three new night-time spectaculars, where the “Paint the Night” parade and “Disneyland Forever” fireworks will glitter like never before.

In Disney California Adventure Park, a new “World of Color” show hosted by Mickey Mouse and Hollywood favourite Neil Patrick Harris will tell the story of Walt Disney and the Happiest Place on Earth.

The iconic Sleeping Beauty Castle and the Carthay Circle Theatre in the California Adventure will glisten for the celebration, each with its own diamond medallion.

In addition to honouring 60 years of operation, the Diamond Celebration focuses on the future of Disneyland, while fulfilling Walt Disney’s promise that “Disneyland will never be completed … as long as there is imagination left in the world.”

Together throughout May and June, Disneyland and Qantas will be offering a special surprise for families hoping to jet off to the happiest place on earth.

You can score one of 31 return flights weekly to LA, through a Qantas Frequent Flyer promotion for members to win a family trip to Disneyland, with five nights accommodation, access to the magic hour in the park, and more.

A Qantas.com page will be dedicated to customers, who can keep up to date on the latest celebration activities, deals, and special offers, while an inflight Disney themed service will jump aboard Qantas to mark the celebrations.
