Qantas revives Perth to Singapore service

Qantas is bringing its direct flight between Perth and Singapore back for passengers.

QF71 departed this afternoon from Perth bound for Singapore, one of five return services that Qantas will operate each week with its Boeing 737 aircraft.

With a flying time of just over 5 hours, the flight is scheduled to land at 5.20pm.

Qantas International’s ceo Gareth Evans said the airline was pleased to again offer its customers in Perth and WA a direct option with Qantas to Singapore, as well as seamless travel across Asia.

“Our customers told us they missed us – so with the right strategy and the right aircraft on the right route, we’ve come back to meet that demand,” Evans said.

“There has been a fantastic response since we announced the new services in April, with customers jumping to book great deals to Singapore and beyond.

“We’re seeing many of our customers choosing to make the most of the early evening arrival into Singapore and the excellent connections if offers to the rest of Asia with our airline partners, with Koh Samui, Phuket and Tokyo being some of the most popular choices.

“Many of our codeshare partners have also been attracted to our Perth-Singapore schedule, adding their code to the Qantas flights, with nine carriers now marketing the services to their customers.”

Customers travelling between Perth and Singapore will experience seat back in-flight entertainment and new Economy meals. A dedicated 12-seat Business Class cabin features Neil Perry menus and amenity kits from Kate Spade and Jack Spade.

Eligible customers travelling through Singapore can also enjoy access to our award-winning Singapore Lounge with menus designed by Neil Perry.
