New smartphone app helps ‘Get Da Job’

‘Get Da Job’ is an innovative app designed to actually help candidates prepare for the job interview process.

Strongly geared towards attracting ‘next generation talent’, ACI HR Solutions has harnessed one of the latest trends in smartphone marketing to launch the app. ACI HR Solutions CEO & Founder, Andrew Chan said in essence the app is a game that gives players inside information about the questions typically asked by employers in an actual interview process.

At the same time, it is also designed to help prospective candidates prepare themselves before they even ‘walk’ into a meeting with their potential new employer.

“You would never sit for an important exam without studying nor would you run a marathon without training and that is exactly what ‘Get Da Job’ sets out to do in order to seriously improve your chances,” Mr Chan said.

“We’ve long recognised the trend users are moving towards with regard to social media and in particular next generation talents so it wasn’t enough to simply have an interactive website with fun and interesting videos to reach them.”

Chan also pointed out the great thing about ‘Get Da Job’ is while it may be primarily aimed at that generation, it also holds strong appeal for any demographic.

‘Get Da Job’ received the gold award for ‘Best Recruitment Innovation by a Recruitment Agency’ at last week’s Human Resources Asia Recruitment Awards 2016 held at the Shangri-La Singapore.

The award was one of three ACI picked up at the event, their haul including a bronze in both the ‘Best Career Website by a Recruitment Agency’ and the ‘Best Recruitment Agency’.
