Qantas has expanded its codeshare arrangement with Jetstar to provide more options for Aussie travellers heading to Thailand!

And if that’s not a good excuse to plan an impromptu trip to Bangkok we don’t know what is.

Qantas will add its code to Jetstar’s Sydney-Phuket, Melbourne-Phuket and Melbourne-Bangkok services, operated by Jetstar’s Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft.

Passengers travelling between Australia and Thailand will now be able to book the direct Jetstar-operated service between Melbourne/Sydney and Thailand in one direction, with a Qantas-operated service on the return leg.

When travelling on the codeshare, passengers can still take advantage of Qantas perks like earning frequent flyer points, a complimentary hot meal, entertainment and lounge access.

Qantas codes to over 50 destinations on Jetstar Group services between Australia and Asia, as well as intra-Asia services, offering Qantas customers a wide range of route options when travelling across the region.
