New CEO at Cox & Kings

New CEO at Cox & Kings

Cox & Kings Group Australia has announced Damian Perry as its new ceo.

Perry, recognised as a “specialist growth creator and branding guru”, will oversee operations and lead the business into a new era of innovation and customer service, according to the wholesaler group.

Perry’s previous experience includes a stint as an industry sales manager in Australia, the UK and Europe, and leading the establishment of Intrepid Travel UK as general manager, and was also general manager of the My Adventure Store retail joint venture within Flight Centre, which included a footprint across Australia, New Zealand, Canada and the UK at its peak.

Most recently, he grew a global collective of internal facing destination management companies.

Perry said innovation will be on the cards for the longstanding wholesaler, including the overhaul of processes, investment in system upgrades and user interfaces and the execution of new digital strategies.

“We have a huge opportunity to cement our position in the industry as the leading tailor-made wholesale specialist, with a genre of product that covers adventure, hotels, retail and services, hotel packages, touring packages and specialist products, destinations and regions,” Perry said.

“The future for this iconic travel brand has never been better. While we have a number of larger more established brands in the market, we still have a massive opportunity to penetrate and shake-up the niche genre of adventure travel.”
