New businesses open up new event opportunities in the Blue Mountains

    NSW’s Blue Mountains MICE scene has received a fresh boost with the opening of two refreshed businesses are ready to receive and service weddings and corporate, faith-based and community groups.

    The region has long been a popular destination for MICE groups and weddings, with world-class accommodation and restaurants, an ideal mix of thrilling and tranquil teambuilding and leisure activities, and jaw-dropping World Heritage-listed landscape backdrops.

    Located just 60 minutes (lower Mountains) and 90 minutes (upper reaches) from Sydney CBD and international airport, the destination is easily accessible via road or rail for delegates arriving from around Australia and the globe.

    Sinofield Edu-Retreat

    Located in Leura, the Sinofield Edu-Retreat is a 12-hectare bushland property close to restaurants, public transport and other amenities.

    Blueys Event Hire 

    Based in Katoomba close to many of the conference and event venues in the region, it was previously known as Blue Mountains Special Event Hire & Lithgow Party Hire.

    Michael Mallin took over the business, which is the only event hire business in the mountains in June 2023 – and renamed it Blueys Event Hire.
