My proudest moment was… Witnessing the first Indigenious trainees graduting our Ingidenious trainee program at Ayers Rock Resort.
The naughtiest thing I ever did was… Plenty of wayward moments opening Blakes in Amsterdam. A stand out would be taking my previous GM to my favorite café and seeing her reaction to the interesting menu.
I try to relax by… Spending time with family, running and swimming.
The last time I feared for my life was… Hitting a roo 2 hours out of Alice Springs.
If I can, I always try to avoid… Magpies in the park behind my house and flying into Brisbane between 5-7pm (weekdays).
I really wish I had… My own 25 m swimming pool.
The best advice I’ve ever received was… Never get in your comfort zone in your workplace.
I don’t understand why people… Think that hospitality staff have control of the weather.
My greatest weakness is… My calf muscle.
And my greatest strength is… Creative people management.
If I won a $1 million lottery (aside from travelling), I would… Buy acerage! Farm and family.
If I was prime minister I would… Get serious about tourism (alleluia we have Minister for Tourism).
If I could be someone else for one day I would be a… Missonary Pilot.
I’ve always wanted to travel to… To the Kimberleys , WA and drop a line.
My favourite holiday was… New York and Italy with my wife. With precision planning ( shows, resturant & bars , shopping ) – gold!
