This time we talk to Amadeus Head of Travel Management Sales Gena Signorini.

Always say yes to an opportunity

I’ve been able to combine my love of technology and travel with various roles in the industry.

You never know where opportunities lead you and what you’ll learn.

It’s the most daunting role that you gain the most from, and they’re the ones that open up the next opportunity.

I’m finding my feet again

The age-old balance of career and family and finding ways to make both work has been challenging.

I gain great joy from both, and believe in the mantra ‘it takes a village’ but I think this applies to both family and developing a successful career.

The industry is full of inspirational people

I’ve experienced numerous industry sectors, meeting fantastic leaders along the way who encouraged me to push beyond what I thought was possible.

Mentors come in many shapes and sizes, some you actively seek out while others will seek out you.

Travel Weekly is proud to present the Women in Travel Awards held on 27 November at Doltone House Darling Island.

More than just recognition, the Awards provide an opportunity for new business opportunities and network expansion, as well as a chance to learn from some of the most empowering and inspiring women in your industry.

Come along, gush over winners and finalists, and mingle with the industry’s best.
