Mantra expands with four QLD takeovers
Mantra Group is set to take over management of four Outrigger Resorts in Queensland next month, increasing its network to 52 hotels.
Fast growing in its role as the largest accommodation provider in the Sunshine State, Mantra has scored four new properties in popular tourism destinations, rebranding on July 1 as Peppers and Mantra hotels as follows:
- Outrigger Little Hastings Street Resort & Spa, Noosa – to rebrand as Peppers Noosa Resort & Villas
- Outrigger Surfers Paradise – to be rebranded Mantra on View Hotel Surfers Paradise
- Outrigger Twin Towns Resort – to be rebranded Mantra Twin Towns
- Boathouse Apartments by Outrigger – to be rebranded Boathouse Apartments Airlie Beach
Mantra Group’s ceo Bob East said the brand will slot in easily with Mantra’s style.
“The Outrigger Acquisition is a natural fit for Mantra Group, extending the Group’s footprint in key leisure destinations,” East said.
“The properties are complementary to our existing portfolio and we look forward to working with the owners, guests and team members to make the transition as smooth as possible.”
These large-scale properties are located in some of Australia’s key holiday destinations, where Mantra Group has a long-standing and high performing presence. Each property offers high quality resort facilities and the transaction presents the unique opportunity for Mantra Group to increase its footprint across 4 key locations in one swoop.
Mantra Group currently have five other resorts on the Sunshine Coast including Mantra French Quarter in Noosa as well as properties in Mooloolaba, Alexandra Beach and Caloundra.
Peppers Noosa Resort & Villas combines a relaxed natural setting in the tranquil surrounds of Noosa National Park with luxuriously appointed accommodation at one of Noosa’s most sought after addresses on Hastings Street.
There are two tiers of accommodation available – stylish studio, one and two bedroom apartments or three bedroom penthouses in the main resort; or deluxe two, three and four bedroom tree top villas offering a superior level of luxury.
Situated high on the escarpment, the villas provide the best views of Noosa Main Beach and hinterland. The vibrant Hastings Street café strip, Main Beach and Noosa National Park are all within walking distance from the resort or electric bikes can also be hired for exploring further afield.
Positioned in the heart of Surfers Paradise just 500m from the beach, Mantra on View Hotel is an ideal choice when visiting Queensland’s famous Gold Coast.
All 411 guest rooms and suites feature a private balcony with views of the Pacific Ocean and famous Gold Coast skyline with resort facilities including an outdoor swimming pool and children’s pool and fully equipped gymnasium and tennis courts.
Conferences and meetings are also catered for with nine conference rooms to choose from, accommodating up to 600 people and supported by a well-equipped business centre.
Located at the southern end of the Gold Coast, Mantra Twin Towns is just a hop, skip and a jump from the famous Greenmount Beach and picturesque Rainbow Bay where the Quicksilver Roxy Pro is held annually.
The Gold Coast Airport is just a 10 minute drive away and 30 minutes into the centre of Surfers Paradise.
The adjacent Twin Towns Services Club is a major entertainment venue for the region attracting a range of international artists. The Club is also the largest event centre in the region with nine world-class conference venues catering for up to 1000 guests in a range of even formats, from corporate functions to elegant cocktail parties.
Boathouse Apartments in Airlie Beach is a popular choice for divers and pleasure boaters heading to the Whitsundays and on to the Great Barrier Reef.
Offering contemporary two and three bedroom apartments that open to views across the marina out to the Coral Sea, the property is close to Airlie Esplanade with a variety of shops and restaurants and nightlife along the boardwalk.
The Boathouse Apartments mark the first stage of a master-planned Port of Airlie resort development.
The property will join Peppers Airlie Beach in Mantra Group’s Whitsundays portfolio.
