Earlier this week, the BBC and Deutsche Welle (DW) reported that an unidentified man had been charged with assault for urinating from the Jannowitz Bridge in Berlin-Mitte, a four-metre-high bridge spanning the Spree River, onto a tourist boat passing beneath it.

Several people on board the boat jumped up in surprise and, while attempting to avoid the stream of piss, hit their heads on the bridge. Emergency services said four people were taken to hospital with head lacerations.

Following the incident, police filed assault charges against the unknown man, with DW reporting his actions were described by police as “abnormal behavior.” The police are currently searching for his whereabouts.
