Send clients out to experience the best of the Land of the Rising Sun with Cruise Express and their Japan in Bloom expedition, a 21-night adventure.

As interest in Japan hits an all-time high, Cruise Express is pleased to announce its ultimate Japanese bucket list trip. This adventure is geared for Australians wanting to tick off the best of Japan in an all-encompassing land, sea, and rail expedition.

It starts out in the world’s biggest and most technologically advanced city, Tokyo. Guests are taken to explore world famous temples and shrines and visit the stunning cherry blossom gardens. They visit the stunning Sagano Bamboo Path in Kyoto and lively Osaka with its modern architecture and tasty street food.

They will also learn to make sushi, watch sumo wrestlers perform, view iconic Mt Fuji and enjoy a traditional Maiko/Geisha performance.  It continues with a cruise aboard the beautiful Diamond Princess, with the opportunity to visit the historic WW2 sites of Nagasaki and Busan in South Korea.

Guests on this year’s tour dubbed it the best Japan holiday, saying it was “a memorable journey through the highlights of Japan” and “the tour was compiled to provide a wide-ranging experience of Japan, the culture, the history and beautiful scenery”.

Cruise Express managing director Meg Hill said Australians’ love affair with Japan was blossoming and this package offered the best of the ‘land of the rising sun’ for travellers wanting the ultimate Japanese experience.

“Visiting Japan during the cherry blossom season is on the top of many travellers’ bucket lists but we’re taking it even further with this package to make sure our guests tick off all the highlights of Japan in one incredible tour,” she adds.
