Adventure World partner with Treadlight and Happy Hearts to build a School in Nepal
The Prithivi Secondary School in Nepal, which recently reopened by Happy Hearts Founder Petra Nemcova, will educate and empower over 350 students annually. The whole community—children, mothers, fathers, grandparents, community leaders and partners—gathered for the opening ceremony, and it was truly a beautiful moment to share.
The school suffered immensely following the 2015 Gorkha Earthquake, however now over 350 children are now studying in a safe and resilient school, instead of a temporary learning centre made of tarps following the natural disaster.
“Adventure World was thrilled to work with TreadRight and the Happy Hearts Fund to help create a positive change in the world. It is incredibly rewarding and fulfilling to know that the school children of Prithivi Secondary School will now learn in a safe environment,” Managing Director, Adventure World, Neil Rodgers commented.

Ireland on the horizon with St. Patricks day, Tempo Holidays celebrate with discount tours
Friday the 17th of March marks a day of celebration, peer pressure and all things green, that is earmarked in most Australians calendars. It’s St. Patricks day and it’s coming in fast. With a large population of Irish residents and the Australian ethos which embraces any cause for celebration, it’s no wonder St. Patricks day has become popular.
For true St. Patricks day enthusiasts, there are several festivals, markets and parades held across the country, but for those of us that are time poor simply getting the office involved and dressing up can prove to be a lot of fun.
Landmarks around the world will also turn green with Tourism Irelands annual Global Greening initiative in which iconic attractions go green for St. Patricks day and without surprise Australia is among the list.
Showing some Irish flare on Friday the 17 March will include Sydney’s Town Hall and State Library of NSW, the Queensland Performing Arts Centre in Brisbane, The Bell Tower and Elizabeth Quay in Perth, and the State Library of Victoria in Melbourne.
Prepare for an influx of Irish enquiries with Tempo Holidays 10% discount on a range of tours and go green for St. Patricks day.
