Insta-famous cruise captain inspires hope with ‘Fight Song’

An Instagram-famous cruise ship captain has posted a video of herself dancing to inspire hope among fellow cruise workers.

Kate McCue, who captains Celebrity Cruises’ Celebrity Edge, has gained quite the following on social media with over 133,000 Instagram followers watching her adventures at sea.

Oh, and did we mention she was the first American woman to captain a cruise ship AND she brings her naked cat along with her when she’s at sea?

McCue posted a video of herself dancing to a remix of Rachal Plattern’s “Fight Song”, asking her “#hopefloats family” to do the same.

So far, the video has clocked more than 45,000 views and it’s just the thing to cure your self-isolation Mondayitis.
