Insider Journeys releases first fresh brochures

Hannah Edensor

Insider Journeys, formerly known as Travel Indochina, has released its first three newly branded Comprehensive Travel Guides 2015/16, covering Thailand & Burma, China and Vietnam, Cambodia & Laos.

The richly textured, vibrant guides are a significant step away from traditional travel brochures.

Intended to inspire and entice, they provide insider insights into the destinations, with hand crafted itineraries that highlight attractions, while outlining the travel options across the company’s three travel styles; Small Group Journey touring, Private Travel and River Cruise.

GM of customer experience and marketing Joe Ponte says the new Insider Journeys travel guides are designed to illustrate the romance of travel and to bring the destinations to life, not just serve as a directory.

“We’re looking to inspire and motivate our clients and to showcase some of the most beautiful and fascinating aspects of Asia to help them decide where they would like to go,” Ponte said.

“Through the evocative copy and gorgeous images, we’d like them to fall in love before they’ve even been, to be able to ‘imagine the stories’ of what they’re going to experience.”

Ponte said Insider Journeys provides travellers with all the details they need to make informed decisions about their holiday, as well as painting a picture of the destination.

The brochures will feature a select few hotels trusted by the operator, sample private touring itineraries, Small Group Journey options and cruise vessel information and routes.

“While we know a certain level of practical information is helpful and required, simple hotel listings and outlines don’t paint a picture, it’s the descriptive and informative snippets – the ’24 hours in Shanghai’ style hints – that help form a scene our travellers can imagine themselves in,” Ponte said.
