Her Majesty to Name Britannia

Accompanied by His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh, Her Majesty the Queen will name P&O Cruises’ newest vessel Britannia.

The naming, which will take place at Ocean Terminal, Southampton on 10 March,will be a milestone in British maritime history.

Britannia is P&O Cruises World Cruising’s latest ‘modern classic.’ “Britannia, a ship for the nation, will be the embodiment of contemporary Britain..” Carnival UK chairman David Dingle has said.

The ships features will include restaurants and bars as well as a theatre, pools, gym and a multi-million pound art collection.
