Boy have G Adventures have the event for you! They’re hosting 1,000 fearless travellers at the Halloween event of a lifetime – a fancy dress party in the shadow of Dracula’s Castle in Transylvania, Romania.

The three-day trip is launching on Dracula Day on May 26, which is tomorrow so gentle reminder to sleep next to a crucifix and eat a big bowl of garlic unless you want to become acquainted with this guy.

The trip is also part of G Adventures’ Limited Edition collection of once-in-a-lifetime tours and provides party-goers with exclusive access to Bran Castle, which G Adventures has secured for the next two years, following the success of the original seven-day Halloween in Transylvania tour.

G Adventures own Chief Experience Officer will guide the group on a journey to the heart of Transylvania, the infamous Bran Castle, perched on the craggy cliffs overlooking the valley.

Here, they can wander the hidden tunnels, secret staircases and explore the creaking corridors of this 14th-century castle, rumoured to have been home to none other than Count Dracula.

Dressed to kill, in full fancy dress, travellers will then dance into the night in a spooktacular G Adventures party tent, set in the shadows of Bran Castle. With drinks, food trucks and great music, it really will be murder on the dance floor.

For those with more time and searching for a truly hair-raising experience, the seven-day Halloween in Transylvania tour takes 120 travellers on a journey through Romania’s most historic and haunted sites before ending with a private party inside the walls of Dracula’s Castle.

Starting in Bucharest, the tour will take travellers to the ruins of Poenari Castle in Bucharest, which was once the main fortresses of Vlad the Impaler, who killed over 10,000 people, and to his hometown of Sighisoara, where travellers will learn more about Romania’s dark history.

Personally, we’d prefer to spend Halloween the same way we spend it every year: hiding under a blanket and binge-watching rom-coms.

But if you’re one to get into the spirit, this is the trip for you.
